Amy and Patrick – Engagements @ NYC – NYC Engagement Photography

I promise we are going to be showing some more of the beautiful spring weddings that we have photographed. I have one on tap to end out the week. But with all these great engagement shoots we have been doing, I just can’t help but post them.

Amy and Patrick were dressed and ready for a great session. I decided to wander off in some different directions and found some great little nooks that I had not noticed before. They were up for a little walking and all the exercise paid off. Even with some of the spots I have photographed before, I wanted to change things up a bit.

They are going to have a beautiful wedding this October at the Lake Valhalla Club.

Melissa and Gonzalo – Engagements @ NYC – NYC Engagement Photography

Melissa and Gonzalo had a beautiful session down in NYC. It was a little earlier than some of my other sessions. The sunlight was streaming down the streets which gave me a chance to play with some adventurous lighting.

These two will be lighting up the Addison Park next March.

Christina and Michael – Engagements @ NYC – NYC Engagement Photography

Christina and Michael were such a fun couple to photograph. They didn’t have the best luck with weather anytime we scheduled their session. First two times were complete rain outs. Even this time, the weather called for thunderstorms. I said the skies are blue so lets do it. It turned out to be beautiful.

Let’s get some of the same weather for their wedding this December at Addison Park.

Over the past few months, every Tuesday we have been out on the road for some great engagement sessions. I thought it would be fun to have a few of these shoots documented so that everyone can get a feel for what it is like to come out on one of these fun sessions. Also, now Tami knows where I have been every Tuesday.

Kristina and Andrew @ Shadowbrook Part 2

After the ceremony, Tami and I had limited time for portraits. Having our clients enjoy their party as much as possible is always one of our main priorities. Kristina and Andrew were like seasoned professional for us. In just a few short moments, we captured some spectacular images all around the grounds of the Shadowbrook. Then it was party time. The ballroom was beautifully decorated by the talented designers of Katydid Signature Floral & Event Design and Band of Gold, one of our favorite bands around, rocked the house as usual.

Kristina and Andrew @ Shadowbrook Part 1

Tami and I had the pleasure of photographing Kristina and Andrew’s wedding on a absolutely perfect day at the Shadowbrook. If you have been following our posts, you are definitely going to recognize these two. They have been a great couple to photograph over the past few months and their wedding day put the icing on the cake for us.

Kristina looked absolutely stunning in her Vera Wang gown from Exquisite Bride with beautiful flowers created by Katydid in Red Bank. Andrew didn’t look to shabby himself. Everyone got dressed at the Shadowbrook which has perfect suites for all the preparations. Then we all headed out for a lovely ceremony in the rose garden. I can’t wait to see some of the video footage from Jonathan of Emerald Video.

Tomorrow we will have some awesome portraits and photos from the rockin party with Band of Gold.

Nicole and Brian – Engagements @ Snug Harbor

Another great engagement session from PJ. He took Nicole and Brian to Snug Harbor Botanical Gardens and found some very interesting spots. I have photographed there many times but it is always interesting to see how PJ, Frank or Tami sees the location differently.

Kristina and Andrew – Dress Fitting @ Exquisite Bride

Dress fittings have been a event that I have wanted to photograph for a while now. To me, there is just something about that time when a bride tries on her dress for the final time before she gets married that has a great emotional impact. When I found out that Kristina was having her final fitting at Exquisite Bride, I jumped at the chance to be there. It was very intimate. Only Kristina’s mother and Andrew’s mother were there with us to witness when she came out of the dressing room in her gorgeous Vera Wang gown.

Amanda and Andrew – Engagements @ Long Branch

Tami and I had a ton of fun playing with Amanda and Andrew down on the beach in Long Branch. I loved that Amanda chose to wear a long, flowing dress. With the wind on the beach that day, it was perfect. Andrew really impressed me with his skills of sweeping Amanda off her feet. Their wedding is going to be a fun day next month at the Hyatt in Jersey City.
