Why the change?
We wanted to have a more streamlined presence on the web. Now all of our spectacular weddings and beautiful portraits will be featured here on our new home page. You are going to notice some tweaks over the next couple of weeks as we continue to build on our new home.
Also, we have been playing with our blog for two years now. We love bloggin because it features our latest work and everyone loves to see new images. Now all those new images will be right here on thestudiophotographers.com instead of a website and a blog.

The Studio Photographers are a group of highly talented and creative photographers led by the Salomone family. Our photojournalistic and fashion backgrounds has created a style with imagery that is unique to each of our clients. Our passion is to have the person viewing the images be moved and learn something about the client, whether it is a close relative, friend or a total stranger. Photography should be more about evoking emotion than just taking a pretty picture.
Following this passion has taken us to the top of the NJ and NY wedding photography industy and abroad. Some of our destination weddings include Bahamas, Riviera Maya, Aruba, Outer Banks, Boston, and Newport, Rhode Island. We were also privileged enough to be chosen to be part of the CBS Morning Show "Wedding in a Week" in front of a national audience.

Congrats to Courtney and Jeff for having their wedding featured in Contemporary Bride Magazine New York. They had a beautiful wedding at the One and Only Ocean Club on Paradise Island.

Frank has been photographing the cover for Contemporary Bride Magazine for many years now. I did manage to get a couple of covers last year but this time it was all him.
It is always an exciting time when we do the photo shoots and when we see the finished covers. For these covers, Frank went for a clean look with some beautiful gowns from Exquisite Bride.
Now that the magazines have hit stands, I’ll share some of my favorite shots soon.

Photographing a wedding in Aruba was very interesting in the fact that the couple must have a civil ceremony in the courthouse to be legally married.
On the morning of the wedding day, Tami and I headed downtown with Christine, Ronnie and their families for the official part of the day. The courthouse was a colorful old building that was great for photographs inside and out. I loved the intimate setting it provided. After the ceremony, we played around with Christine and Ronnie in the courtyard.

Destination weddings are becoming more and more popular here at The Studio Photographers and we love them.
Christine and Ronnie finished out our traveling for the year with a spectacular wedding at the Hyatt Regency in beautiful Aruba. It was four days of blue oceans and wild parties. One of the major advantages bringing us to a destination wedding is having all the weekend’s events documented. On Thursday, Christine and Ronnie had a little cocktail party at the Hyatt. Tami and I loved the lounge seating around the bar and couldn’t help getting Christine and Ronnie to have some fun on the lounges. After the cocktail party, I photographed my first bachelorette party of my career down at the beach bar.
Friday took us on an adventure to town. Tami and I jumped on a crazy bus with Christine, Ronnie, their parents, and bridal party to El Gaucho. The food there was amazing. Especially the steaks, they were gigantic!!!

Happy New Year Everyone!!!
We are back from our winter break and ready to jump right back into things.
Our first post of the new year is a engagement shoot that Frank photographed right before the holiday at Rockefeller Center. Tori and Keith wanted to get some shots with the Christmas Tree which is always an interesting shoot because of all the crowds and security. Frank got some awesome shots in and around Rockefeller Center. He even got NYPD involved. Frank is always a troublemaker.

Since it’s the coldest day of the year, I thought I post this engagement session from the hottest day of the year. Kerri and Rory were Tami’s and my last session of the day and the sun was gone. They were a great couple to photograph and we got some awesome shots in some new locations. Even the locations we had gone earlier in the day were now completely different at night. I also love shooting at night in Manhattan. It really raises the level of difficultly and forces you to be extremely creative with the little light that you have.
We just shot Kerri and Rory’s wedding last weekend at the Florentine Gardens and it was beautiful. Stay posted for them or you can check out some later this week on our Facebook fan page.

To finish the night off, Jennifer and Matthew had a rocking party at the Rockleigh Country Club. We had tons of dancing, including a dance off between Matthew and his brother, some singing, and orders of shots were flying.

The Rockleigh Country Club is a gorgeous setting for portraits and Jennifer and Matthew rocked it. PJ and I wanted to get as many great shots of this beautiful couple in a short amount of time. I was glad to see the guys from Fiore Films were able to keep up.

Jennifer and Matthew had a beautiful ceremony in Wayne. Decked out in a great tux, Matthew had a nervous excitement beforehand that I love to capture in grooms.
Their priest was a very strict one but gave PJ and I a great compliment afterwards. He said that we were the best because he never knew we were there. I love to hear that from priests. The less we are seen, the more real the images we capture are.
Now off to the Rockleigh for some stellar portraits.
